Dear friends of photography,

“PHOTOSAFARI TURKEY’O8 - FIAP Member Countries” organisation is an activity planned to promote, develop and strenghten international relations in accordance with the targets of foundation of the “PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS FEDERATION of TURKEY – TFSF” established in 2003.

We aim to create an environment in Turkey’s historical sites and places of natural beauty and that, with the help of our rich folklore, to inspire photographs with a difference for foreign participants. This meeting will also help people of different professions and countries of origin, to share their photographic experience(s) with each other.

We would like to think that this activity will provide us with a basis for the evaluation of the development and contemporary level of Turkish photography.

We are foreseeing the continuation of the project with changing content, in changing locations of our country. We are in the hope that the created environment will help inspire similar organisations in other countries.

The role of succesful international organisations on the promotion and prestige of countries can not be denied. We would like to emphasize on the value and importance for us, of contributions on every level to the first international organisation our young federation is undertaking.

“PHOTOSAFARI TURKEY ’O8 - FIAP Member Countries” between 4^th and 11^th of May 2008, in Fethiye.
